Magicjack getting investigated for billing fraud?

Page 1 of 3 Magicjack. I saw the infomercial and it looked pretty cool. I did some research online and quickly found a lot of complaints against magicjack. After finding a ton of these complaints and some glowing reviews, I decided against buying a magicjack.
But I came across the following after clicking on a google ad...

Looks like some lawyers are looking into these complaints. I can tell you from my research that the most consistent complaint is billing fraud, unauthorized credit card charges, inability to get a refund, etc.

If you have an old internet modem it will not work well. When Comcast replaced my modem surprise my MagicJack phone worked just fine!

I have had my MJ for 5 months now and it works great!! It is located at my home in a foreign country and has saved me over $400...per MONTH!!!

This product is great. I occasionally hear an echo but I've heard echos on a few cell phones I've owned as well and I payed a lot more for them. Do yourself a favor and buy this product you'll save a whole lot of money. Of course there will be a few bad ones, I've gotten bad items from Sony, JVC, etc. too. Purchase the item from a store that way theres no credit card charges involved you just plug it in and you set up your account. Remeber its just $40 its not like its going to bankrupt you if theres an issue.

got two magic jacks one worked other one worked sometimes coud not recieve calss with regularity no phone no. for service all incoming went to voice mail after 4 rings could not get a renewal on on 1 year service am pissed off

Where is the problem if somebody charge your credit card just dispute this charge this hapen always for any company

We tried Magic Jack out for two weeks but the echo was intolerable! You get what you pay for!

I have had my magic Jack since April. It has worked well. I am happy to have it. Never had any problems.

I've had my MJ for just a few days, and have had constant problems with robotic-sounding voices, on my end, as well as the other end. I hope this problem is finally solved, but if not, I WILL be sending it back.

when i first filled out order form and all info, i changed my mind and pushed the back button to leave the site, but some how magic j. took the order some how ( magic? ). Then they tried to bill me twice,saying the bank refused payment, even though my credit card statement shows they were payed. Then magic j. emailed me saying they would turn me in to a collection agengcy.

I've only had mine a few days, so far it's great. I have a Dell XPS 410 with vista and the MJ laoded and was up and running in 3 min. I'll watch the billing, but not expecting any problems. As far as spyware goes none of my programs picked up anything from the instalation of MJ.
